* What differences do you find between fashion modeling and glamour modeling?

Christine Smith: Fashion modeling is easier because you are making the clothes look good, glamor modeling the focus is on you.

* How have your career goals changed since you started modeling?

Christine Smith: My career goals haven't changed-Being a Playmate has only made them easier. Since I was little I have wanted to rehabilitate animals and so far I have taken in over 90. I have had a lot of dogs who were supposed to be put down for attacking people and dogs and cats who were terrified of people because they were so abused. I'm not sure why, but as soon as I would get them they would start to get better instantly. A few rescue groups I worked with would always call me to take animals that they had given up on because they knew I could fix them. Now that I am a Playmate it's easier for me to help animals. I can donate signed pictures for fund raisers and help bring awareness for better treatment of animals. My goal is to open a animal rescue center so I can help them on a larger scale instead of one animal at a time.

* How do people perceive you and why?

Christine Smith: People are always tell me they are surprised by me. I am always told that they expected me to be aloof or snobby and are surprised by how nice I am. When I work events at the Playboy Mansion I always have at least three people tell me "your not from here are you" because I am so friendly and outgoing and I hear thats not common in with pretty girls LA. I love all the Playmates I work with though! They are the sweetest and most intelligent group of girls I have ever worked with! I have so much fun at events.

* As a famous Playmate, you are in a powerful position where you can influence many people around the world. How do you use your power?

Christine Smith: I want to use my "power" to influence people to see animals how I see them and treat them better. I don't think most people intend to treat them badly-they just don't know any better. My friends brothers dog froze to death in his back yard because it didn't have shelter. He thought that since it had fur it would be fine. I want to help people realize what pets need to be happy and healthy. Being a Playmate I talk to people all over the United States and I would like to help make people aware that animals are completely dependent on us for everything and will always love you unconditionally.

* How often do you visit Playboy mansion? What is it like?

Christine Smith: I am hired to work Mansion parties at least three times a month. The mansion is on 5.6 acres. It is really beautiful. He has a zoo, two beautifully landscaped pools, flamingos and peacocks wander the yard. I don't think the parties are like what most people expect. It's not the wild parties of the 70's anymore.

* So, what is Dog Training?

Christine Smith: Dog training is really more about training the owners than the dogs! Mostly you help owners figure out why their dog has behavioral issues and then you train the owner to help their pet. Animals have amazing memories, and that is the hardest thing when it comes to helping them. Every animal I have had has been very different from the one before it. I believe you can make any animal a great pet.

* What is a week and a day in the life of Christine Smith?

Christine Smith: I feel like I am on a permanent vacation! I wake up, roller blade or bike on the path on the beach, sit and watch to birds for a bit...

* Visiting your nice MySpace page, I saw you like scaring movies. What was the last one you've watched?

Christine Smith: The last movie I watched was called May. Anna Ferris was in it so I thought I would watch it since I just did a movie she is in and I think she is a very funny actress. The ending of the movie May was creepy!

* Are there any exciting projects that you can give us the inside scoop on?

Christine Smith: I am in three movies this year. I am a body double in Walk Hard, I appear as myself in I Know What Boys Like, and I am a featured extra in Will Smiths movie about him being a super hero. I will be in fitness magazines that will be coming out next year and a few clothing catalogs.
