* How do you balance work and family/social commitments?
Danielle Lloyd: Usually my work/social life goes hand in hand, so that is not bad. My mum, dad and brother usually come down to stay with me and we have a nice meal and night out but I don't get much time to go home as often as I would like to and I really miss my nans and grandad. * What is the quickest way for a guy to turn you on? On the contrary, what's the fastest way for a guy to screw up and turn you off? Danielle Lloyd: I hate scruffy men who don't look after themselves but I also hate men who are too clean cut and too nice! I love people to be genuine and funny who I can have a laugh with and I must be able to trust them, as I have been hurt in the past. I am a romantic so they must be romantic and I love surprises. Turn offs are liars, cheats and people who are full of themselves. * What is your concept of fruitful couple relationships? Danielle Lloyd: You have to have trust in each other and be friends. My mum and Dad have been together for 33 years and married for 26. They are still in love and best friends and they have been very supportive to me. When people are in the spotlight all the time, it is very difficult and they are put under a lot of pressure. It is also very sad when people sell stories on celebrities, just to further themselves or get themselves noticed. You have to be strong for each other and trust is the most important thing. * What are some of your favorite things to do in your spare time? Danielle Lloyd: I love to chill out and watch TV and a good DvD in Bed. I usually get loads of snacks and get in bed with a bottle of (water) pink champaigne but only when I want to spoil myself and relax. I also have a MySpace and I go online and update my site to let everyone know about what I have been up to and what is coming up. I often go to the pictures and I love going out for a nice meal, especially trying new restaurants. * Browsing your impressive website, I’ve read you have strong values of helping others. How does that caring express itself? Danielle Lloyd: As you know I have been in two abusive relationships and I know that I was very lucky to be able to get away from them. I had lots of people, men, women and young girls who contacted me and asked for help. I also support Womens Aid and Refuge and I have spoken about abuse on National TV. If I can help one person get away from an abusive relationship I will be happy. Also as I have just had a lump removed from my breast I have had lots of young girls who have contacted me saying that after readng my story, they checked themselves out. I've also had a couple of people contact me to say they have checked their breasts and founds lumps and are now receiving treatment for it. If they had not read my story, they would not have found them. That makes me feel so much better, knowing that at least I can help others by talking about myself and bringing awareness to others. It makes me feel better in myself. * Where do you see yourself in five years? Danielle Lloyd: I would love to be presenting on TV I see myself doing something like Blind Date or something similar, I also want to still carry on with my modelling. Maybe by the time I am 30 I will settle down and have children and be married! Who knows? |
