Louise Cliffe

It was only after her sister entered her into a competition that she began to experience the world of modeling. At first she was juggling the two jobs, working by day as an office secretary, and by night as a model, but eventually modeling was taking up more of her time, so the office job had to go. Since then, Louise Cliffe, (22), won Miss Manchester 2006 and Miss Maxim 2007.
Many of you have seen her sexuality oozing from her hair to her toenails in her milk bath in Maxim's milk video. Now she is switching gears into acting career, so get ready Hollywood, cause this British babe is ready to make some BIG noise!

* Louise, how are you?

Louise Cliffe: I'm great thanks, things are looking up and I can't wait for the future.

* Please tell me about your family and living in Manchester.

Louise Cliffe: Living in Manchester is great, the people are friendly and everyone is down to earth. Manchester is a fantastic place to go out and plus we have one of the best football teams in the world, Manchester United! My family are wonderful and without them I dont know what I would do. They're all a bit crazy but I like that.

* How would you describe yourself?

Louise Cliffe: I'm a down to earth girl with a big heart. I'm very ambitious and want the best out of life. I put people first and that's how I like it.

* In your Myspace page, you describe your work as a model in these words: 'When I get in front of the camera something happens, it's strange but you do become a different person'. Could you provide an example of this?

Louise Cliffe: When I did a shoot with Andy Lesauvage as a Bond girl type character I just pictured myself as a sexy strong woman, and imagined myself being in the film. (I hope that's one dream I can make come true!).

* Your figure looks like a million bucks while you're not refraining yourself from pleasure derived from eating good food. What is your beauty regimen?

Louise Cliffe: I don't have one actually, I'm very blessed haha! No only joking, I think you should try to exercise, eat well and just look after yourself. My body is a temple, it's my 'money', so I need to look after it very well.

* You've build a successful career as a top glamour model, winning Miss Maxim UK and flaunting your impeccable body in magazines such as Maxim, FHM, Loaded, Front and Zoo. However, a few months ago you've decided to steer your career in a new direction - commercial modeling. What was it that made you change your mind?

Louise Cliffe: I just realised that there was much more out there than just glamour modelling. Don't get me wrong, glamour modelling is great but at the moment I want to try something new and because I'm good at it.

* What has been your best, and what has been your worst modeling experiences so far?

Louise Cliffe: My best job was going to the Caribbean when I won Miss Maxim UK. It was amazing. It was paradise actually and the food was the best. My worst job was for an underwear company, where I had to walk around a shopping centre in underwear, giving out leaflets. That was so awful and embarrassing.

* How was it like for you filming your first film called 'Charlie Noades R.I.P'?

Louise Cliffe: It was fantastic! Doing that has made me want to do more filmwork. Just being on set and getting ready for the directer to say 'Action', it's all so exciting. I've got a real passion for acting now, that's my next wish, to be in a top Hollywood film.

* I also heard from Angela de Fouw, your manager, that you've just passed auditions for a highly respected Acting School. Please shed some light on it?

Louise Cliffe: Yes I'm starting acting lessons at The Manchester School of acting, I'm so excited. The school's director has got such a good reputation and his teaching methods are great. I was very nervous auditioning, there were two rounds but I through in the end.

* Do you have a role model, someone you admire and learn from? If so, who is it, and why?

Louise Cliffe: There are many people I admire, including my mum and my sisters. I admire Kelly Brook, she's had a lot of success and has a great career, combining modelling with acting. I like successful business women! hope one day I can aspire to that and more!

* What do you believe in, and what don't you believe in?

Louise Cliffe: I believe in being loyal, that's the most important thing to be. I think that without it, you can't get anywhere. Treat people as you want to be treated! I dont believe in lying, being honest gets you everwhere - that's what I feel anyhow.

* AskMen.com and Sunsilk, maker of products that turn brunettes into blondes and vice versa, conducted a Blondes vs. Brunettes survey. What do you think about the results?

Louise Cliffe: I'm very happy with the results. I think some of the most beautiful women in the world are brunette. Obviously I am biased because I'm a brunette. There are many beautiful blonde women in this world too but you can't beat a good old brunette! They're more mysterious and I like that. Just look at Sophia Loren - one of the most stunning brunettes ever and still going strong!

* How would you explain Durex's sex poll results which puts the UK in the bottom half of the table for practising safe sex?

Louise Cliffe: By reading the article it seems the UK are not playing it safe. I believe in being safe and in this world today you have to be. There are so many diseases out there. Schools and youth groups need to address this problem soon before things get out of hand. (Or even more out of hand).

* How does a typical day in your life look like?

Louise Cliffe: I get up, have my breakfast and maybe go for a run. Ill then go to a shoot, get made up all beautiful and do my stuff in front of the camera. I'm in my element, I love turning it on for the camera!

* What's your favorite book?

Louise Cliffe: Call Me Elizabeth by Dawn Annandale - it's about an incredibly woman who turns her life around. I really recommend it.

* When was the last time you had a really great experience that made you happy?

Louise Cliffe: When I was told I'd got through to Manchester School of acting. I was so worried for weeks waiting to see if I'd been accepted. When they told me I'd got a place, I was over the moon and so happy! I start this week and will work my socks off - watch out Angelina Jolie..... Louise Cliffe is coming to LA!

* Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Louise Cliffe: In Hollywood filming with Brad Pitt! (Or Jonathan Myers!).
