Kim Klein Kim Klein
New Jersey's Kim Klein, a former gymnastics star, began competing in fitness competitions in 1996. By 1997 she won her first competition, Mid-Atlantic Fitness and by 1998 was the New Jersey State Fitness champion. After two years off to finish her college education, she produced a stunning comeback and became the 2002 NPC USA Fitness champion, earning her pro card. She constantly continues her upward trend, polishes her strength, flexibility and endurance which earned her the 2008 Ms. Fitness International Champion title. Susan Groshek Susan Groshek
Susan Gorshek is an IFBB Fitness Pro and spreads her fitness enthusiasm through personal training. Originally from Dearborn MI, she moved to TX about 5 years ago. Her energy on stage is astonishing and she captures the audience with an extremely fit body and great fitness routines. In this interview Susan describes me how much dedication to exercise and nutrition it takes to excel as a professional fitness competitor.

The countdown to the 2008 Arnold Classic has already started, and I had a meeting with IFBB Pro Fitness competitor Oksana Grishina. Oksana won the 2006 Fitness World Championship, and she is one of the most successful and beautiful fitness athletes of all time. I asked her about her impressive fitness routine as well as how she turned into a fitness icon.

She has a body that most of us could only hallucinate about at the age of 45, a body that most thirty-somethings would kill for.
Dena Weiner has traversed the fitness world to become a successful fitness competitor and participated consecutively in nearly 80 fitness competitions (!). Dena is very diligent about her and her family's healthy lifestyle, and apart from being a fitness competitor, she owns a mortgage company.

"I like to use a lot of free weights. Free weights allow your core to strengthen too. You can do jumps, push ups, lunges, anything you would like with free weights. My training routine consists of lifting each body part one time per week and training my routines 3 times a week. I do cardio every morning for about 20 - 30 minutes"...

Physical and emotional obstacles didn't deter Petra Mertl from reaching her goals and developing her fit, healthy extraordinary body which will be seen in the California Pro Figure competition on May 24th, 2008 in Culver City, California. Petra got her pro card in 2006, and as a pro, her competitive history consists of six figure competitions in 2007: Sacramento Pro Figure Grand Prix, the Europa Super Show, New York Pro Figure Contest, Jan Tana Women's Bodybuilding And Figure Contest, Colorado Pro/Am Classic Bodybuilding And Figure Contest, and the Pittsburgh Pro Figure Championships. A meeting with a strong woman who can handle anything that comes her way.

IFBB Pro figure competitor Natalie Benson is eager to show her hard lines and her body's overall completeness in the coming Arnold Classic. A story of a hair stylist who transformed her physique into one that magazines want to feature as an example of elite fitness.

Briana Tindall Briana Tindall
Briana Tindall earned her Pro Card at the 2006 North American Championships by winning the Overall Figure Competition and placing 1st in Class B of the Figure Competition. Briana, a Worthington, Ohio native is trained by by the Fitness Factory's Mike Davies, and recently took the 13th place in the 2008 Figure International. Her physique continues to make steady improvement, and her strong allure on stage makes her potential success unquestionable. In this interview she describes her personal path toward self discovery and personal fulfillment.

"If I'm off season I'll eat more carbs tham if I'm getting ready for a show. I eat 6 meals a day. Incorporating protein in every meal. Some days are higher in carbs and on the low carb days I substitue a good fat source-usually peanut butter".

Latisha Wilder Latisha Wilder
Originally from Marysville, Tennessee and now living in Dublin, Ohio, Latisha Wilder has become one of the rising figure competitors in the sport of figure competition. She turned pro in 2003 at the 2003 NPC Figure National Championships, and achieved acclaim by finishing as a runner-up at the Pittsburgh Pro, and placing in two top-fives at the Figure International. Recently Latisha placed 11th at the Olympia and was the runner up at the Palm Beach Pro. A meeting with a woman of excellence.

Colette Nelson is a top IFBB professional bodybuilder, registered dieititian and web designer. Colette was born in Southfield, Michigan and raised in Royal Oak, Michigan. She studied Dietetics at Michigan State University, and after her graduation she moved to New York. Colette has been weight training for 15 years and took the 2004 bodybuilding World Championships by storm. Her success is built on foundations of hard work, amazing talent and personality as well as total commitment and concentration. She described me how she turned her body into a shrine of muscles, power and health.
