Tyler Faith: Im great! And thank you for having me! * How would you describe yourself as a child? Were you happy? Tyler Faith: Yes, on the most part, I was very happy with an awesome family, great friends and a few boys that kept me entertained. LOL I was definitely always a wise ass and a little bit of a trouble maker but nothing too crazy. (smiles). * What messages did you receive about sex when you were growing up? Were you made to feel comfortable with your sexuality, or ashamed and fearful? Tyler Faith: I grew up in a traditional/non-traditional Italian family. Meaning, my grandparents and many of my elders were very old school, conservative and tactful around the young ones. But mom, cousins and brother certaintly kept an open communication regarding such things. I lost my father at a young age so I don't know where that topic would fall between him and I, but regardless, he and I were close. I miss him very much. ;( * Did you ever have premonition that you were going to be a porn star? Tyler Faith: It's really funny because my friends growing up wanted to be lawyers, cops and doctors. I always wanted to be an adult performer. From feature dancer to star of the "blue" screen. I just kind of always knew I would be involved in some capacity. * What makes you passionate about dance? Tyler Faith: Well, I think I'm pretty passionate in anything I do but when I'm the object of your affection, erection and head turning direction, I am in my happy place! I don't do some wild and crazy stage show with fire, ballet or special efx. I actually don't have any specific stage show in mind when I take the stage. * Do you remember your first porn movie? What was it like for you?
Tyler Faith: The first porn movie I saw was Chameleon with Tori Welles. I remember think WOW how fun! * How do you prepare for a scene? Tyler Faith: My preparation for a regular boy/girl or girl/girl scene isn't anything overly exciting. First, I make sure I get a lotta rest the night before. Then on the morning of the shoot, I pack a suitcase filled with many different varieties of clothing, lingerie, shoes and accessories. I take a nice bath where I shave all the important areas. Check the nails for chipping then off I go to the set and right into the make up chair. * How do you maintain excellent physical shape for porn and enhance your sexual libido so well? I guess you have a very healthy lifestyle. Tyler Faith: This is an answer that will probably shock you but I really have NOT been the best example of health and fitness lately. I'm a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Guru but really haven't practiced anything I preached in quite a while. I am Italian, I love to eat and while I do visit the gym, it's nowhere near as often as I should! * Please tell me about a situation where your analysis of a problem was deemed to be incorrect? What would you have done differently? Tyler Faith: I'm a stubborn, animated, opinionated girl from Boston. I'm sure I was considered incorrect many times in life. And I'm also sure I didn't give a shit what they thought was the right answer! * What personal traits help you succeed? How do you excel at every challenge put before you? Tyler Faith: I don't excel at every challenge put before me. In fact, I fall on my face a lot. We all do. The trick is to keep your chin up, have FAITH in yourself, get up and try again. Even if you fail, the dedication to your passion leaves you with a lot of pride and satisfaction. * What are the keys to achieving the highest levels in porn? Tyler Faith: Well, the game changes so much every year. And I'm certainly no expert on staying at the complete top of the pedastool my whole career. But I can tell you, the choices we make with the scenes we're willing to do, the people we say YES to work with or style films we work on...that all factors in. Also, how we handle ourselves at events and the crowd we hang with while in the eyes of the fans and industry players...all of that plays a part on the road we're paving and our future in this biz. * How much of yourself does it take? Tyler Faith: Very hard to answer that question. I'm not sure any of us will know the true answer until we completely step away from the business. In some regards it chips away at our souls a bit. No matter how secure a talent is, regardless of loving support and a somewhat normal lifestyle outside of work, we are giving away a special part of us in a not-so special kind of way. However, I'm general, as professionals, we are able to turn it off and see it as "work". And many of us can go home and have relatively normal "play" with our real life partners. * Do you think porn is the hardest job a woman can have? It demands unique traits and powerful personailty. Tyler Faith: Well, I'm not sure it's the hardest career 'skill wise' but it definitely has some of the hardest negative side effects if you are not a strong minded, goal oriented person. * What is the essence of a good blow job and which blowjob techniques do you use? Tyler Faith: Reaching the sexual "jonezz" and desires of the fans. It's such a high to know I help enhance relationships...with a spouse or even just the relationship between you and your hand. * What are some stereotypes that you have encountered as a porn star? What do you think about them how do you repsond to these stereotypes? Tyler Faith: We all have AIDS, we're all on drugs, we all support or produce kiddie porn... none of these things hold any water but this is how middle America pegs us--having no idea what the real deal is. How do I address it? I don't. Most small minded folk have already made up their minds. They ain't gonna change 'em on the advice of a blonde bombshell with fake tits! * When in life have you felt most alone? Tyler Faith: When my father died. He didn't leave me on purpose. But somehow whenever life has little heart zapping seperation moments, that feeling comes back again. Don't get me wrong, I'm very independent and like charting my own course. Tyler Faith: I can't narrow to just one but I can tell you some of the happiest moments were watching my grandmother and grandfather (when he was still with us) interact and love each other so strongly. Seeing how dedicated and sincere their pact as soulmates was, it's was so incredible that I almost think they were one of a kind and it's practically impossible for any other couple to live life like they did. * What lessons have you learned from your relationships? Tyler Faith: Stay away, get a sugar daddy! LOL I've learned a lot of lessons yet for some reason I'm still an old school romantic in training. I learned that not every guy is an asshole that will fuck you over or cheat on you. This business sometimes jades you into thinking all men all pigs. You need to be a real good judge of character and give someone a REAL chance to show you they are 4-real. * How do you usually celebrate your birthday? Tyler Faith: As quiet as possible. Hate making a big deal out of it. * Do you consider yourself a role model? Tyler Faith: Sure, more so to new girls in the biz but even as Auntie to some of the most awesome neices in the world. They're teenagers now. They know what I do and as a result of the open communication, I can teach them some important birds and bees lessons most moms shy away from. - Would you say many women should learn how to feel comfortable with their body and to do what they love to do without hesitations, even if the way is hard? While I completely agree you should be comfortable with your body and who you are, there are many women in this business that make me wonder if there's a little misguided objectives. Don't get me wrong, I believe women as a whole are beautiful. But when it comes to being an adult film star or feature entertainer, maybe I'm a product of the old school but, I believe we have specifically been designed and presented as your fantasy. Without taking anything away from the beautiful character, minds and hearts of the average new XXX alumni, the girl next store craze kinda transformed into more dumpy, less then average, non-glamourous Janes. The days of the Bombshell Megastars are fading fast. I don't know. Maybe that's a good change of recent times, but it's certainly not in my "rub one out" category. * What do your hobbies include? Why? Tyler Faith: I know I'd be a cop. And I'd be a dirty cop! I'd take bribes, use sex as a tool to get people off (if ya know what I mean--LOL) and prob rob the evidence closet.
