* Tamara, how are you? Could you tell what have you been up to recently?
Tamara Witmer: I've been taking some time off actually. I get like that a lot with work. I enjoy what I do for a living, but I require a lot of down time for my mental well-being. * How did you become a Palymate? Have you had hesitations before your brave decision to take off your clothes in front of the whole world? Or maybe it came naturally for you? Tamara Witmer: I was shooting for some swimsuit calendars and the photographer asked if he could submit me to Playboy. I had been approached numerous times before, but I didn't feel like the time was right. When I did start shooting the spread, it was fine. I didn't have any hesitations. * What was it like for you moving from anonymity in Dublin, Ohio, to the stardom in California? Do you recall any cultural shock? Tamara Witmer: I guess it's that 'big fish in a small pond' syndrom. Even as a teenager in Ohio, I was always ambitious to do everything that I am doing today. I feel like I have worked hard to achieve my goals and exceed expectations. |

* Which differences do you find between posing for magaizes as Fit Body and
Physical, and posing for Playboy?
Tamara Witmer: Well, obviously nudity is the main difference. Playboy is for exposure in the media and fitness magazines are more for the creditablity of being published at all. * What has been your most rewarding accomplishment so far? Tamara Witmer: Just being here and doing what I always wanted. I've been rewarded in finding success in a competitive industry. * What was your experience like on "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels"? Tamara Witmer: A little disappointing. I went in with high expectations and a positive attitude because I really wanted to win. Unfortunately, the show portrayed me as being much less intelligent than I really am. * Let's talk about your breathtaking beauty. Who did you inherit it from, and how do you keep it? Tamara Witmer: I have to say; I hate it when girls around me have a conceited attitude about their looks and career- I see it all the time. I think being modest makes a girl much more attractive. As far as my personal beauty secrets, I try to stay natural. A true beauty is a natural one. * Building huge popularity and successful modeling career as yours demands business sense. How would you describe your business sense and money making talent? In other words, what are your criterions for selecting the appropriate companies to work with? When you are so coveted, I guess you say "no" more than "yes", am I right? Tamara Witmer: I am at the point where I can turn down jobs that don't pay enough or that simply don't interest me. I think I have been talented in marketing myself. I don't have a lot of people working for me, which may be a surprise. I have bird-dogged most of my own jobs through networking and submitting myself to companies as an agent would. * What was it like for you playing Gigi in Supergator on the Sci-Fi Channel? Tamara Witmer: It was a fun experience for my first movie. We shot on a tropical beach in Hawaii. I thought the scene turned out cute. * When you're on the other side of the camera, which types of movies do you prefer watching? Tamara Witmer: Horror movies. I also like cheesy 80's movies. Valley Girl, Edward Scissorhands, Halloween, Carrie... those are some of my favorites. * What do you like to do in your spare time? Tamara Witmer: Long walks, go to lunch, surf the internet, astrology books, cocktails, dinners * Your zodiac is Aries. Do you think your zodiac sign really reflects your personality? Tamara Witmer: I am born under the sign of Aries, but my true sign is Scorpio. It's complicated. But yes, I am a believer in the zodiac and all kinds of witchey stuff... * Which directions will your career take you in the future? Tamara Witmer: Who knows. In this business, I just hope to be alive when I'm 30. Centerfolds
